Boredom is the issue of the day,

GREETINGS HUMANS,

I am sitting here at approximately 9.22 a.m. typing this post because I am bored. I can't sleep, I don't know why. So I just prefer to do something remotely productive before second period commences.

Once again, I would like to say hello people!

I am sadder than you Darrel. Just so you know, don't feel to sorry for yourself, at least you a reasonable dose of retardation from your Singaporean "I like to play Dota while doing my homework" friends.

It is these times when you look back at school life, ridiculously sad as it is, that you realise how much you miss it. Somewhere between that friendship we built during those "tumultuous" years of secondary school life are expected to last a lifetime. As it is, some of us are 3000 miles down south looking at kangaroos, and some of us are 15000 miles west, sitting in the Underground. Someday we might meet each other again, it could prove to be a pleasant surprise, along the way, we did probably make more friends than ever, in university and in your future workplace. Someday, you might even find the love of your life out there, and he/she could be the best friend you have ever had. So life ain't that gloomy after all. Those memories in school especially those few years as seniors in Form 4 and Form 5 we shall cherish for they will never return. You flip through you yearbook now, retarded looking as the sape-wielding guy might look, you will immediately feel that rush of memories into you. That class page that took so much time to prepare for, that senior poll that was rigged, the clubs that one joined. Yes, imagine 30 years down the road, that same yearbook, after lying in your room for years unread, is reopened once again. It is only then you realise, hey, I haven't seen so and so in such a long time. You wonder how far he or she has gone in life. My dad tells me stories, yes, of his experience, 5 years back, the alumni of his college had a gathering in the US, that was when he realised that some of his classmates, mind you, had died under tragic circumstances merely years after they graduated. There was one guy who died in a car crash a year after graduation! We may not know, what might become of us, but we shared a huge part of our lives together. This part of our lives is not your part of life neither mine, it is ours to share, because we all went through it together. I look back at last year, I almost want to go back to those memories. I wouldn't mind Mr Zac's constant fluctuation in mood levels, I wouldn't mind being scolded by Ms Anjali, I wouldn't mind Mr Selvam scolding me because of a giggle. Those days were THE days. I live in today, yet I remember yesterday, why? All I got of yesterday, is a bunch of dumb videos on youtube and a yearbook I will lose anyway. Life takes a swing at you and you can't seem to do anything about it. I love you people, and I will miss all of you. You will make new friends and I will make new friends, but it's time we left behind the memories of the past and move forward instead.

"Thanks for the memories even though they weren't so great."
Fall Out Boy

Godspeed, good luck,
If we meet again.

Lights off
