Something went wrong.

GREETINGS HUMANS,

You read everyday in the newspapers, stories of manslaughter, of horrific and barbaric acts of extremism commited by people all around the world.

Some kill, murder, rape and pillage in the name of God.

They fight for a "noble" cause, "avenging" the so called "blasphemies" of the infidels against their own people.

We have truly forgotten what we stand for. Yes,as the only being on the surface of this earth and below it capable of thinking, feeling(!) and able to pass judgement.

And yet there are people, extremists(!) resorting to committing crimes of animalistic proportions all in the name of an illusionary heavenly being they believe to be God.

Which God? Which God who tells you to wage war and monger war? Which God who tells you to blast yourself and a hundred others into smithereens as an act of faith? What teaching of God condones this act of barbarism.
I ask you.

Who is God anyway? Think, my friends.

Is He a self conjured image of a saint to you? Is He some sort of crazy warlord who incessantly tells his followers to wage wars against fellow humankind? Is He a suicide bomber ready to blast you to Hell?

I don't know.
Neither do you.

When is it going to end, people?

Nobody feels safe anymore.
Mothers fear for the lives of their children.

What happened recently in Pakistan is an unforgivable act of extremism. It has thoroughly convinced me that terrorism is here to stay. It is here to force its message into the hearts of millions around the world. To inspire fear and insecurity the world over. You've got mail. Are you going to accept it?

Also recently the world stared in disbelief as Myanmar cracked down on monks protesting on he streets. This was an action "authorised" by the government of Myanmar. The entire world was disgusted , appalled, horrified! It was a piece of absurdly barbaric cruelty. The Myanmar government were extremists! They are extremists, not because they are communist, not because they oppose the very idea of democracy. They are extremists merely because they have overdone their actions. And overdone it in such a zealous manner that they have ensured that not a word of protest will any longer be mentioned in Myanmar. Everyone waits. And cowers in fear.

When will salvation come?

It's ironic at times like this you pray
But a bomb blew the mosque up yesterday

Godspeed, good luck,
If we meet again.

We are nearing the end.

GREETINGS HUMANS,

It has been 2 years now. For some of you 3 years.

But we are nearing the end.

Maybe I will see you in the future. Maybe I won't.

Today.

Today will be the last day ever we are going to sit in a single classroom.
The last day of which we are going to throw water balloons in the school field.
The last day to take a dip in the school pool, voluntarily or involuntarily.
The ultimate excuse to cam hore for a good cause.
The last day of upper secondary.

Today is...

The last day when we can see our teachers in class.
Some have bared with us for years to an end.
To them it has been worthwhile.
To us we are gratified.
We have done this together as a class, gone through two years, through torrid times and happy times.
We may never know each other fully.
But what I know all of you I shall treasure.
There might have been things we yearned to be better.
But today those things no longer matter.

It is the last day of school.

When we meet again, it will be good luck and godspeed, on the 12th of November, in the exam hall.

I wish all of you the best.
In all future undertakings, may you achieve success.

Until then today could very well be,
the parting of ways.

Farewell my friends, whoever out there who can call me one.
Goodbye.

For friends, here's a word.
I hope you treasure our friendship of these few years.

"Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence. True friendship is a plant of slow growth, and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation."
George Washington

And as we part.

"Don't be dismayed at good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends."
Richard Bach

So farewell. I hope you will forgive me for my idiosyncrasies.

Thank you for having beared with me.

Godspeed, good luck,
If we meet again.

Lights off

We have been walking on this road for our entire lives, we no longer remember what we set out to acheive...

GREETINGS HUMANS,

We have been walking on this road for our entire lives, we no longer remember what we set out to acheive...

Tell me(!) you know what you want to do in life.

Countries all set out wanting to shape a better world, to address the economic and social imbalances among their people.

Politicians strive and build their dreams in hope of seeing a utopian and ideal society.

Doctors go through years of hardwork and pure determination to make a difference in a world and save the lives of thousands.

Priests go through years of religious studies to preach a message of love and peace across the world.

We all set out with dreams of bettering our predecessors and changing the world as we know it.

The thing is not many of us reach the end of the road.

Not many of us can constantly build on those dreams.

Some of us just forget.

totally. forget how the journey had started.

Sometimes even when the end is in full sight and within grasp.

maybe...

but
WHO REALLY SUCCEEDS?

Think again.

Godspeed, good luck,
If we meet again.

Lights off
